The NWJHL completed its second week of regular season action with 7 games being played. In those games it was the North Peace Navigators, Fort St. John Huskies and County of GP Kings all grabbing two wins.
The Huskies and Vipers met for an early showdown for 1st place in the league. In a fast pace game with only 3 penalties called, it was the Huskies who came out on top 2-1.
The newly named Kodiaks are still looking for their first win under the new name. They will look to get in the win column when they take on the Vipers in Sexsmith on Saturday.
