The NWJHL is pleased to reveal the details of the 2021-22 Regular Season schedule which will mark the league’s 27th season.
The six active teams in the NWJHL will play a 40-game regular-season schedule. Dawson Creek will kick off exhibition play on September 11th weekend traveling to 100 Mile House BC and Fort St John will be traveling to Cold Lake, AB. The North Peace Navigators, Fairview Flyers, Sundown Oilfield Sexsmith Vipers, and the County of Grande Prairie JDA Kings will be traveling up to High Level and LA Crete AB for exhibitions games as well. Teams will be working with High-Level Minor Hockey on and off the ice in conjunction with hockey school while in the community that weekend.
League games will kick off on Friday, September 24 and the regular season will wrap up on Saturday, February 13, 2022. The NWJHL Senators Cup Playoffs will begin on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
The final games before the Christmas break will be played on Sunday, December 19, 2021, and the schedule will resume on Friday, January 7, 2022.
The NWJHL Showcase Weekend will be replaced by the Prospects game Saturday, November 13, 2021. The game will be on Hockey TV.
